I’ve been getting a little bored with my current fitness routine, so this weekend I decided to a buy a new game for my Wii Fit entertainment system.  I was doing my shopping in Henrietta so I decided to check a few different stores to see if I could find a deal.  Both Best Buy and Target carried the game EA Sports Active Personal Trainer for $59.99 regular price.  To my delight, Toys-R-Us had the same game priced at $44.99 regular price.  This is actually the second time they had a Wii game I was looking for at the best price so if you’re in the market I suggest to give them a try.

As a side note, the EA Sports Active Personal Trainer came with a free subscription to either Self or Details magazine.  Bonus!

There are so many occasions where the small act of planning ahead can really save you money.  For example, if you’re interested in checking out the New York State Fair this year, plan ahead and purchase your ticked before August 26^th to get your ticket for only $6.  After August 6^th, the price goes up to $10 so this is a 40% savings.  Multiply the savings across your entire family and the difference can be significant.
