Many magazines contain articles about saving money. This month’s subscription to Health magazine contained articles about exercises you can do at home – so you can forgo the gym membership. It also contained a bunch of recipes for healthy meals that you can prepare at home which will help your waist line and your wallet. My favorite recipe was for Penne Primavera which makes use of leftover veggies from last night’s veggies and dip.
The Deal Gets Sweeter
If you’re still not convinced this deal actually gets better. I actually didn’t pay for my subscription to Health magazine. Last year when it was time for my mom to renew her subscription, she was offered three free subscriptions for the price of only one renewal. I was one of her lucky “friends” who got a free subscription.
I have heard that there are many other magazines that give away free subscriptions when you renew. I got a free subscription to Bon Appétit magazine when my sister renewed her subscription. If you know of other magazines that do this, let me know and I’ll share them with my readers.
