Just got back from grocery shopping this week and found some really good deals at the Penfield Tops. There was a ton of Jennie-O turkey products marked way down. Jennie-O turkey sausage – 1 pound (Reg. price: $4.29) was marked down to $2.57. Each of these packages also had $.55 off coupon stickers on them which Tops doubles. The final price came to $1.47 each. There was also Jennie-O ground turkey – 1.25lb (Reg. price: $3.99) marked down to $2.00 each. Each of these packages needed to be used or frozen within the next three days but these prices are a great reason to fill up your freezer! I’ve been finding Jennie-O products marked down quite a bit recently so even if you can’t get out shopping today -- I would check your store next time you go!
If you need a recipe for turkey sausage – try Robin Miller’s Baked Ziti with Sweet Turkey Sausage. It’s a huge hit in my household. If you have a vegetarian in the family, make one pan of with meat and one without. Freeze half of each and you’ll have a ready-made meal for later!
I also found Valio Real Goodness Lactose Free milk – 32oz (Reg Price: $2.19) marked down to $1.09 each. It looks like Tops is discontinuing this size and trying to get rid of their current stock. I love finding unadvertised discounts!!
